Project Description: |
The City of Peabody was exploring new options for rodent control throughout the city. APHC Corps members took 10 years’ worth of residents’ pen and paper rodent complaints and created a heatmap in ArcGIS, identifying the hot spots the city should target for surveillance and mitigation efforts. Project Description: | A Corps member completed a landscape analysis of local organizations and faith-based communities in Springfield, MA, to identify which organizations could conduct a COVID-19 vaccine clinic and reach different populations and to serve as a first step for deploying those programs. |

Project Description: | Ghost kitchens, commercial kitchens being used for delivery-only food orders, started springing up across MA during the pandemic. One Corps member researched this phenomenon and its implications for restaurant inspections and food safety, and created recommendations for future actions. |
