- The APHC hosted a Panel on Careers in State and Local Public Health presented by Antonia Blinn (MDPH), Aimee Gilbert Loinaz (UMass Amherst), and Dawn Sibor (MHOA).
#APHCVaccinates Social Media Campaign
- Personal stories from friends and family of the APHC were used to help to promote confidence in the vaccine for those who are hesitant to get vaccinated for COVID-19.
- August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM), an annual observance that highlights the importance of vaccination for people of all ages. The APHC would like to share some resources and training opportunities about immunization for August.
- Covid toolkits created by APHC and the MHOA for local boards of health to use and distribute across various social media platforms and formats.

- The Local Public Health Institute of Massachusetts is a comprehensive, convenient resource for public health training that helps build and maintain a skilled local public health workforce.
MHOA Guide to Local Public Health in MA
- To provide important resources that are critical for the success of local public health officials. Each chapter includes resources that are starting points for local public health officials in developing their own programs.
COVID Public Health Communications Materials at Mass.gov
- Public Messaging and outreach materials to prevent the spread of COVID-19 provided by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Includes information, videos, and resources in various languages including those for deaf and hard of hearing individuals.
- Communications resources provided by the CDC. Various kits and on different topics are available.

- Daily and weekly reports on the status of COVID-19 vaccination efforts in Massachusetts
- Daily and cumulative reports on Massachusetts COVID-19 cases, testing, and hospitalizations. Additional reports include nursing facility data, cases by city/town, residents subject to COVID-19 quarantine, and data from State facilities.
